FAQ
What if my child doesn't cooperate?
That's completely okay and to be expected! I follow your child’s lead and build the session around what feels natural to them—whether that’s exploring, cuddling close, being silly, or needing a little extra comfort from you.
What if my home doesn’t get a lot of natural light?
If you're unsure about the lighting in your home, you can send me photos of your living areas so I can gauge if there is enough light. I can also come by prior to our session and find spots in and around your home that will work.
Do I need to clean my house?
Yes and no! Please don't feel like you need to do a deep spring clean before I arrive. However, removing clutter and an excess of toys goes a very long way. That might look like moving items into another room and closing the door!
What should we wear?
Neutrals! I can't emphasize enough how beautiful neutral colors are and how they help brighten up indoor spaces. Whites and creams are dreamy. Think casual and comfy as well!

I'm a newborn and family photographer in the Treasure Valley.
As a mom, I know how quickly the years fly by. One moment, you're bringing home a newborn, and the next, they're running off to their first day of school. My mission is to help you capture these fleeting moments in a way that’s authentic, joyful, and full of heart.
I love being able to capture genuine + spontaneous moments. I view my job behind the camera as a documenter, providing you with a freeze-frame of your current chapter in life. I've found that (with guidance) kids do best when they're free to be kids at sessions. This creates an environment that is fun and less stressful for everyone!
I have worked with many families that have children on the autism spectrum or may struggle in social settings. I am confident in my interactions with them and if this is a concern for you, please let me know so we can discuss further.
I will give posing suggestions and prompts as needed to ensure everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. My goal is not only to provide you with beautiful photos, but to also have you leave a session with a full heart.
