Where do you usually shoot outdoor sessions
We will discuss the landscape that you are wanting. There are many beautiful locations in the Boise Foothills and along the Boise River.
What should we wear?
Choosing the right outfits can make a huge difference in how your photos look and feel. Fabrics with texture—like knit sweaters, denim, linen, corduroy, or soft flannels—add richness to your photos. Earth tones and creams are gorgeous in photos. Think coordinating colors, not matching. Avoid black, navy, and bright red.
Do you reschedule for bad weather?
I will keep an eye on the weather report and radar leading up to your session. Boise weather can shift drastically so I don't make a final decision too early. For situations that do call for extremely high wind or heavy rain, we may need to reschedule or move our session inside.
Do you offer packages for extended families?
Absolutely! I personally love extended family sessions. Being able to photograph multiple generations together is such a special thing. Please contact me for more info.

I'm a newborn and family photographer in the Boise area.
As a mom, I know how quickly the years fly by. One moment, you're bringing home a newborn, and the next, they're running off to their first day of school. My mission is to help you capture these fleeting moments in a way that’s authentic, joyful, and full of heart.
I love being able to capture genuine + spontaneous moments. I view my job behind the camera as a documenter, providing you with a freeze-frame of your current chapter in life. I've found that (with guidance) kids do best when they're free to be kids at sessions. This creates an environment that is fun and less stressful for everyone!
I have worked with many families that have children on the autism spectrum or may struggle in social settings. I am confident in my interactions with them and if this is a concern for you, please let me know so we can discuss further.
I will give posing suggestions and prompts as needed to ensure everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. My goal is not only to provide you with beautiful photos, but to also have you leave a session with a full heart.
